2026 City of Elgin Memorial Day – Bluff City Cemetery

For the 11th year, River Bluff Studios captured the City of Elgin’s flagship Memorial Day program at Bluff City Cemetery. Every year, the ceremony brings local residents to the historic cemetery for a special Memorial Day speech, reading of General Logan’s Orders, the Gettysburg Address, floral tributes, reading of deceased veterans, and a rifle salute. The ceremony is planned by the Elgin Patriotic Memorial Association, dating back to the last 1800’s.
